A very warm evening - wind wnw expected so an evening trip to Mountbenger was planned.
Nobody was willing to make a decision about where to go based on the forecast.Sean was staying local. Dave Tomkins was heading to clough but surely a wingbeat site can work today?
Today was quite eventful. Having decided to stay local took a trip up to the nearby site of Fairlie (An LLSC managed site) its actually called Kaim hill on the map.
Rasp was giving a 5 star rating for the moffat hills so took a last minute afternoon off from work.
Headed up for an evening fly to bridgend. The forecast showed the wind to be dropping as the day progressed so though I'd get a wee bit of soaring in.
After the usual Friday night Emails Rob and me decided that a trip up Mountbenger seemed to suit the prevailing weather conditions W or SW, 6 - 8mph and clouds forming early afternoon to hopefully show the way.
