There is something good about being able to drive to the launch site with a car, particularly when its windy and you have to wait for things to settle down.

There is something good about being able to drive to the launch site with a car, particularly when its windy and you have to wait for things to settle down.
A last minute day of work almost thwarted by the weather.. Nothing new there!
Bank holiday today for me. Boys in nursery/school. Mia's at work. Chores done. it's sunny (so far). Light winds.. might have to walk up a hill and see if I can fly my paraglider.
A light wind forecast with a hint of ne meant I was keen to take a look at bridgend.
no wind at the bottom. nor on the drive to the hill. not a lot half way up.
Tim and Barry managed a couple of flights at bridgend before the darkening sky ended play.
Went up to Dungavel and got 20min soaring before things died off.
It was flyable at Dungavel! well, Briefly! so that's probably the first non top to bottom flight since the spain trip !
That's probably not true as there was some soaring at Bridgend but it feels that way.
