A light wind forecast with a hint of ne meant I was keen to take a look at bridgend.

no wind at the bottom. nor on the drive to the hill. not a lot half way up.

A smidge more on top with bits coming through. Tommy appeared while I got a bit of light wind ground handling practice. I think we chatted through all the decent thermal cycles so by the time Dave was near the top there was more of easterly breeze.

More of a catch up then a highly technical plan was hatched. We fly down then get some ice cream.

Dave lead the way. Then Tommy (after his longest layoff flying for 21 years) and lastly me. Relatively buoyant to start with then some big sink. but all got down safe.

Cream o'Galloway ice cream from the cafe by st marys loch finished the afternoon of quite nicely.
