Stuff to do in the morning and a forecast for a strong enough breeze (NE)  meant I wasn't to sure if I would head anywhere. The breeze remained light in Lockerbie all morning so when I spoke to Stephen we though we would take a look at Shield Hill near Lochmaben.

The backup plan was to head up to Bridgend.

We got to the hill at 2.30. Light wind from the North rather than north east.  An hour to drive to Bridgend meant we headed up to take a better look.

Got to the top.  Light wind.  Still to the north but launchable. So we set up. Their were some cows on the Hill.  They started to take an interest in my glider so popped it up and ran off.  The launch caught the eye of more cows.  Saw about 10 running my way.

Soared down the hill and landed down the bottom.

Stephen hadn't been spotted by the cows so had a clean launch and flew down. Nice landing.. Well maybe .

Nice wee fly down.  Need to remember about this Hill as it's 10min from home.
