Witchie today turned out to be more frustrating than satisfying

There was plenty of tantalising cu forming out front and only wafty wind on take off, making it difficult to get off the hill. With hindsight it would have been better to start earlier and/or walk up to the top of the SE face at the start to make the most of the extra height to connect with something, and by the time we got there after flying/kiting across the best of the day had passed and it had gone blue all the way out front.

Still it was a glorious day, out in the hills on a beautiful afternoon with stunning views all around. Plenty groundhandling practice and a nice fly down from the top back to the cars. And Gerald got to successfully test getting into his harness. With today that makes an excellent run of five flyable days consecutive - quite incredible considering the recent long run of poor weather.
