Today Tinto beckoned. Rob ,Gerald and myself met up in Innerleithen and headed across together. We arrived around 11.15am to find things a little windy so we went into Biggar for a light snack " An all day breakfast" and lots of tea, it turned out to be a good move.
Nae wind... But I have another fly down under my belt.

I booked a day of tandem training / assessment with airventures.co.uk. The plan was to meet up with Gordon and Malcolm at the Castlerigg stone for 10am. It's about an hour away from Lockerbie and then was a fair breeze in evidence along the M6. Heading in towards Keswick there was a wee bit of drizzle. So a traditional start to a day of pg training!
High pressure and light South easterly breeze was forecast. I had a plan to get out of the house after a busy couple of days at work. An evening walk up Jubilee Cairn. It's not a particularly easy walk but quite a nice fly down.
No wind, so took my own advice and practiced forward launches.
